As an interactive part of Science Festival (Festival nauke) in Begrade, Sofija Stefanović took part in the program “Na kafi sa naučnikom” (Drinking coffee with a scientist) on Saturday, December 7th 2019. Some of the questions posed were: how much is creativity important for science? What does it mean to be a scientist today? How does a career path of a female scientist look like in a field that is still dominated by men? How does her work relate to younger generations, especially in trying to inspire and prompt them toward science? Where do new ideas come from? These, and many more questions dr Stefanović answered through the story of her ERC BIRTH project.
